Cruise photos!

Tradition of cruise photos runs strong on Silja-Line ships. The problem is that the templates coming with them didn’t show the brand, there were too many options that people couldn’t choose and skipped. The cruise photography was outsourced, and the photography company hold the originals close to heart. They were worried that update would turn down the sales.

In the end I won over the customers and the photographers with these new illustrated templates that pinch of brand. Here is comment from one of the pthotographer: “We have received some great feedback from the templates. The passengers and almost all the photographers love them.

I have to admit, I wasn’t sure myself. But after visiting the Serenade this morning and seeing them in print form, my opinion has completely changed. Their simplicity is their strength, very understated and Scandinavian in design. They complement the photo rather than distract, and grow on you the more you look at them. The dark one is my favorite 🙂
